Not Charging

Well my tach quit so I put a meter on the battery and I'm not getting any charge. What is the problem and how hard is it going to be to fix. Thanks Rand y

Sorry I did not give enough info. The motor is a 1989 Evinrude XP150

Most likely thats going to be the reg/rectifier. Yours is at the top of the block right behind the crank.<br /><br />Good luck!
