I have a 17ft dory and 25n yamaha autolube. When I 1st put the engine on the boat it in my opinion flew. It don't seem to be as fast now.

The bottom is still clean, I've got new genuine prop, cleaned cars both manually and then with quicksilver fuel cleaner, new plugs, new caps, checked and cleaned all electrical connections. I'm not sure what to do next

A tachometer would be helpful to determine your wide open throttle RPM's....there is a device called a Tiny Tach which you might consider...

Put control in wide open position, remove cowling and check carb butterfly to be sure they're wide open...
