JUST got my 96 200 Ocean Pro rebuilt. In third hour of break in.

after 3-4 mins of idle either in gear ot out, it sneezes and/or coughs a couple of times, rpms start to drop, and then it'll usually cut off.

Thanks for any guidance on the idle problem. Still have the oil doubled up for break-in, so I suppose there is an outside chance that THAT could be affecting plugs at low RPM.

Is this something you did yourself or was it done by a marina/boat dealer?

Pump the primer bulb when it begins to die. See if it picks up. Sounds like (because you mention 3 - 4 mins), that the engine has emptied it's carb bowls and has run out of gas.

If so, new fuel pump.

Why didn't you answer my question to you in your other post?
