Not pumping water on the hose

35el79a dies not pump water on the hose only in a drum.any thoughts? Also how do I get a little rock out of the 2stroke hole on the foot.i think that's what it is for.its a very small hole.

You may have to compress the rubber adapters on the sides of the lower unit to get enough pressure to
push the water up to the pump when on the muffs. You need adequate pressure because the pump is
higher than the inlet holes. In the drum you have water up over the level of the pump, and it self-primes.

I think you'll have to pull the gearcase to get the rock out.

My force outboatd dose the same thin all the water sprays out the sides and none to the pump. I just put a bungee around the let to hold them snug.
