I have new starter, igntion, and solenoid. Today when I was out I turn key off. And would not start up, So I jump it. Then when at dock I tryed key agin and it worked twice. When I got back to my boat storage I try agin, and nothing. Could this be a lose wire?

Re: Not starting everytime

Sounds like a solenoid problem.Maybe a loose wire.
Test light,Ground one end and the other to the solenoid,yel/blk.Have someone turn the key.If it lights the tester and doesn't start then it's possible sol.is bad.Test the main lugs on sol. the same way.

Make sure the shifter is properly positioned. Could be the neutral safety switch is being activated.
