A burgular died of a heart attack today while robbing a disused factory: full story here

I'm not a 100% sure where I stand on this one for a very good reason: we have some of the lowest unemployment in the UK in that town: in fact for a long time we've had the amazing situation that there are too many jobs! We're actually encouraging workers to come from Poland to fill vacancies so it makes me wonder why anyone needs to turn to crime?

Man now don't that just blow.
Commit a crime and die before you can get away.
I feel sorry for the family, but I'm sure he could have made a living doing something besides that.

BTW, what about the son, 18 years old, me wonders if he was doing anything to help out in this time of need?

I'm not sure what the question or debate is about. I'm sorry the guy died, but lets face it, he was commiting a criminal act when he died. Ask any criminal, they all have an excuse why they steal. I know people who are blind, or deaf or in a wheelchair that hold down a job. There are plenty of jobs someone with a heart condition can do.
