I say again, I say again. The movie in question has nothing to do with the tide or the "colour" crimson. I have never seen the movie so it could contain the same or similiar phrase. If it does then does it contain the phrase? Sir, this time words just fail me.

For further clarification, let me say that the movie in queston was produced and shown prior to the relaese of Crimson Tide, thereby superceeding all claims to the quote with regard to origin.
The Actor who said the lines was Jack Warden, playing the part of Yeoman Muellner.
