NS15B2 Looking for Carburetor Kit or parts to rebuild

Hello,

I've been looking for a carb kit for a NS15B2 or at the least the gaskets for it. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem with my M9.9B2. I just searched and searched and searched. Look at Nissan dealers in your area and call everyone. They should still make some gaskets for it. Probably not kits though being it's an older motor. I was able to get the float bowl gasket, and the gasket that goes between the carburetor and powerhead. Good luck!

Could you place pics of the old float, valve, carb gaskets, gas pump diaphragms, don't know this old model, would actual 15D2 parts match ?

The B2 carb is quite different from the D2 carb. Different casting, different bowl, different float, etc. The only real "gasket" for the B2 is the bowl gasket. The early B2's had a cylindrical bowl with free-floating "donut-shaped" float, and almost nothing is available for those carbs. The later models (depends on serial number), had an "octagon" bowl, and hinged float. The gasket for that carb is: 350031210M, GASKET, FLOAT CHAMBER, $4.85, and is still available. OTOH, if you need bits for the integrated fuel pump, some are still available.

Oh and if you need a needle valve they don't make them anymore. However, I was able to match one up from a Honda lawnmower carb, and it operates just fine. Mine had the rubber seal on the needle valve not the seat. Just a thought if your looking for one.

Japrater, if you plan to stick with that oldie, you better buy important parts while still available, or you could end with a grounded boat, and that would be a real pity.

I agree with Sea Rider. I ordered a extra pump body and gaskets when I found them. They are inexpensive and always good to have spare parts. I can't wait til I can afford to buy a newer motor with parts on hand!
