The very first post in the Four Winns Owners group. Of course, it's November in MN and I won't see my Four Winns until April or May when I get it out of storage.

Re: Number 1

I think and posts in Iboats seem to back up that four winns makes a pretty good boat. When it comes to buying used, IMO it's a lot more about the condition and what power setup it has. If it's got a merc or volvo drive thats a plus, if not, do some reading in iboats and see if you want to get involved with anything else. With the boat make sure it's solid, a rotted floor or transom is a big problem. Good Luck!

Will do. Where in the transom is the wood that might rot?
