Hey all. I have a 1991 E150Gleis. It has been submerged, Pickled, and taken to a "repair shop". The shop said it should be ok. I am now getting 2 continuous alarms.
1. Alarm stops after disconnecting the tan w/blue stripe wire from the port temp switch.
2. Stops when the tan wire is disconnected from the pressure switch.
These problems did not occur until, a couple of days ago. The motor had been fired up on ears, and flush a few times.

However, I had drained and flushed the fuel tanks prior to getting one of the alarms.
What do you all suggest?

If it was submerged in salt water, replace the harness now. If it was fresh water. Check the temp when the alarm goes off with a good pyrometer. If it is cool when the alarm goes off, change the sensors. Check the fuel system for high vacuum. You should have 4in hg or less for vacuum on the fuel system. Being submerged may be the problem though, water and electricity to not mix well.
