I want to check the oil in the foot before I test run the motor Saturday, but for the life of me I can only find one plug on the foot. I believe the drive to be an Alpha One. I found one plug opposite the prop, the front, in the lower corner, almost on the bottom. I assume this is the bottom plug, cause it can't get no lower. I've got down on my knees with a light and can't find an upper plug. About how many inches above the lower should it be? Will it be toward the front or back? I know ya'll are rolling in the floor, and that's ok. But when you stop laughing could you please reply. Thanks. BTW I said I think it is an Alpha One. I have a 1986 mercruiser 5.0L engine. According to a post earlier this week DonS said the serial num. fit for a MR?? drive. ( I think).
