I have a 6ft Titan inflatable with a 6 H.P Johnson 2 stroke O.B.
It seems that this motor would be plenty to scoot along very quickly
but it seems to be very sluggish and pushes a lot of water.
Can the O.B be trimmed somehow to plane better?
The Titan has inflatable keel.
Total weight in boat (me at 250) and normal gear.
The journey to the marina is a long one so speed is nice.

Wow, 6', that's really small. You're probably overpowered with the 6hp motor. With an inflatable keel, it should plane though. What kind of floor does this boat have?

Re: OB motor trim

yes you can set the trim, there are different pin settings, just set in one or 2 pins up untill it runs allright .... PS. change the pin on dry land, the pin loves falling into the water .....
