bombardier has annonced the death of the 6,8 25 and 30 hp 2 stroke johnson models hopefully the e-tec models are not too far off

I'm afraid that the ETEC electronics and DFI package would make those little hummers too big and heavy to be competitive.<br /><br />Look for some improvements in the Johnny 4 strokes in those ranges.

If they don't get production going they will be announcing the death of Bombardier Recreation Products. Telling a customer 6-7 weeks for a motor from now isn't a great selling point.

No, but over-producing and stock-piling isn't the best way to raise stock either...<br />The demand is greater than expected in this case.<br />I'm with JB on this....I think we will see some new 4-strokes in that size of package.

Sorry but I have to disagree ,there are no engines available.There are none in the river or strait in our area .After talking to other dealers in the area (who are in the same boat and can't get engines) they agree ,produce the hype and get the orders.Its no different then Merc with the Verados but in their case they made the engines just no rigging equipment.
