Howdy,

I'm pretty bored sitting in a hotel so I did a little search,

From BRP -- Parts Catalogs that injector for that model number is #3855182

It's available right here from iBoats Parts!
Injector, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14 - Volvo Penta 3855182 - iboats

A google search also produced a lot of items.

One from Marine Parts Europe is indicated below.
PartNo:
3855182
Weight: 0,139 kg
Article Group: 12
Price: 593,48 EUR incl. VAT. :faint2:

I also found several more including one on ebay for about $325 (USD)

Once you find the part numbers for the other stuff, you can search for them all over.

The following is from cpperformance
Fuel Injector
Replaces: Volvo 3855182
Fits: Volvo, OMC 4.3, 5.7L
Get your watercraft up and running again with one of these Mallory Marine fuel injectors. They are built to OEM specifications and offer a precise flow and factory fit. The fuel injectors are available for specific engine applications, so you'll be back on the water in no time.
MSRP: $299.95
Your Price: $229.99

I don't know what it would cost to get one to you in the UK after any customs duty, taxes etc + shipping though. You might be right up there when it's all said and done.

Cheers

Re: Obsolete Parts

Check with your local automotive jobbers and see if they have a marine catalog for their electronics supplier. Most of the early fuel injection sensors etc were from the engine manufacturers.
