Hi guys...
Couple of questions for you
1./ I rebuilt the carbs on my 1996 ocean runner but when i dismantled the carbs they had no sealing washer under the brass valve body that the needle sits in , i have placed a washer back in there but i have read else where that the plastic body carbs do not use these as the shoulder on the valve body forms the seal?? the reason i ask is that i reacon it is runnign a little lean and this would cause the level in the carb to be slighty lower than with out the washer .
2./ I want to restore the bow tank in my 1990 fletcher speed boat which had been taken out at some point , i can make a tank no probs but what is the rule on vents etc. i have seen 1 1/4" alot for the filler and then two breathers one port and one starbord is this correct ??//
Thanks in advance
