Dog is a short haired Border Collie, swims and fetches all day. He is never quite dry when we are away !!!!

Great pics Ken....what lake are you on? (more or less). Are you up in the Muskoka's? or Peterborough area? or?
Ontario has some great options on the cottage country lakes...something we don't have out here believe it or not. On the Island we have the pacific ocean of course but you pay a real premium for the fresh water lake stuff.....way more than what you would pay for city real estate.

Most likely the family photos on the wall you saw at the party !!
Dog is 10 1/2 now and still acts like he is 2 !!! Our last Border Collie was 17 1/2 when he had to be put to sleep. Started slowing down at around 15.
Get away yourself if you can. We will be doing it all again in August and maybe a couple of weekends in between. We have some good friends staying up there at the moment. Hopefully they leave the fridge full of beer !!!! and maybe a bottle of something we all like !!! They have a place in Georgian Bay so we trade off places for a change quite often.
