Off Topic - Illness (2nd)

Back on June 21 of this year I posted a similar notice pertaining to my wife being seriously ill and that my posts might be lacking somewhat due to the fact that she needed my care and time. I appreciate the replies and calls from those of you that were concerned. My wife, Louise... her illness (lung cancer) actually started a couple years ago but flared up bad starting May 25th of this year.

Unfortunately she lost that courageous battle with cancer on October 15, 2011, leaving a great void in my life.

Should any of you wish to view the obituary I inserted in our home town newspaper, I have entered the following address. But should this not be permissible and therefore removed by iboats, I will not be offended.

You and your family are in out prayers - We just lost my father-in-law to lung cancer april 26th - 4 months after he found out - God bless.

My condolences to you Joe for such a monumental loss. Our family lost a brother and sister to cancer over the last three years.One to esophageal cancer and the other to lung cancer.My nephew also lost his eight year old daughter to a brain tumor one year ago August. I hope you'll find strength to endure this ultimate loss and that our final destiny will be to reunite with them for eternity.

i can relate. my mother is on her last stage of chemo.and hope i can be as strong as you joe if this round dosent work...iboats is such a gr8 place to come and relax in all our hard times...thanks

I was diagnosed with lung cancer four years ago next month - operation followed by chemo - took a year to recover from the chemo.
