I recently pulled up to the ramp and noticed two guys having difficulty operating their recently launched boat. After I launched my boat I was floating in the no-wake zone waiting for my wife to come back to the dock. During my wait I observed that these guys had loaded the boat back on their trailer and pulled the boat out of the water in an attempt to further diagnose the problem. One of the guys got in the boat, and the other stuck his head under the lower unit to get a close up view of the problem area. The guy on the ground did not seem phased when his friend started the motor, but you should have seen him jump when his friend put the motor in gear and the prop started spinning. From my vantage point it looked as if this guy came real close to taking the spinning prop on the neck. Fortunately nobody was hurt, but it could have real been bad.
