Yay, I get to play what's wrong with my 470! (sorry, too much reading all the 470 threads!)
I am new to the inboard engine boat life, and bought my first boat, here is everything I know about it, most of which I learned from you lovely people! I have other questions but will start slow....

mc-1 drive.
I begin my introduction to the boat by having it heat up on the muffs in my driveway... and the fun begins. One thing leads to another, and I place my orders for exhaust flapper, raw water pump, lower & upper drive and transom seal kits, thermostat, intermediate shift cable, exchanger(4") gasket, trim sending units and the minimal tools, as I am trying to be pro-active and eliminate any problems that may arise. Everything is going well but slow. Then I pop the water resevoir off doing my due diligence, and find this.

How screwed am I? Please be gentle, I'm vulnerable right now!
