Yep it'd be pretty much theft proof. Babe proof too...No one is gong to want to borrow it unless there's a circus in town...Probably hard to get anyone to donate for gas unless it' to burn it down... could be used as a marker for low hazards if you ran it aground, couldn't miss seeing that!
But hey, it's got a supposed fresh motor and a motivated seller! Given the rest of the work on this jewel, a full survey definitely is in order, but the cost of the survey may render it a total loss.
Diamonds like this don't come your way very often... Hopefully dog droppings don't either.
