Ohm spec 1984 Mercury 50 hp choke solenoid?

Does anyone know the specification for ohm readings on a choke solenoid for a 50 hp Mercury. Serial number is 6486874. I ordered a new plunger as the plastic connector broke. I would like to make sure the solenoid is good also.

If you hold the choke button down and place a small deepwell socket in where the plunger goes and the selinod wants to pull it up to the top and hold it there then the selinod should be good. JMO

Swag on ohms would be around 12-30 which would produce 300 ma to 1 amp for pull in current. Doesn't take much.
