Oil color question.

What is the right color of?<br /><br /> XD-30<br /> XD-50<br /> XD-100<br /><br /> I ordered 6 gallons of XD-50 from my dealer, he told me that I might get half of it in red color as the blue is going out,he assured me it was still XD-50 and that I could mix the two together.<br /><br /> This is bulk<br /><br /> Should i trust this statment or refuse the red oil as a XD-50. :confused:

i read somewhere Canada colors oil as to wheather it is taxed or not.

Are you sure you're not think about gasoline. They also dye it here in the states to determine whether road tax has been paid. I think years ago it was purple, now it's red.

I have seen red gas, as well as clear gas. What does the red signify, as far as tax?

Red Gas is farm use same as purple was years ago.<br /> clear is taxed gas.<br /><br /> I still would like to know the color of the three<br /> XDP-oils. :confused:

Canada hey<br /><br />Only 2 cylcle oils is colored ... some like red for chaisaw and blue for outboards.<br /><br />Deizel fuel is also colored (for tax purpose) to differentiate from furnace heating oil (untaxed)<br /><br />Gasoline: high test used to be red, regular yellow. now a days it's jest plain expensive ...<br /><br />tashasdaddy: best fishing spot is 24 miles south-est from the Mayport jetties ... lol Big wreck out there ... good for chicken (snapper)<br /><br />Y'all have a nice day fishing huh !
