OK guys this may sound really stupid but here it goes. I know on my past outboards the oil drain plugs were large with a slotted head. I have one with a slotted head larger size, and for the drain plug i don't see one anywhere? I undid this small star headed screw on the bottom of the motor and only a dixie cup worth of water came out no oil at all? Does this means there is no oil in the unit? or did I undo a wrong screw? I also removed the vent screw and there was oil on that screw but nothing coming out of the bottom at all even if i tilted it etc. I jsu got this motor this year had great compression on each cylinder but unfortunately have not had a chance to run it yet, I literally picked it up for $100. Can someone help me out?, as well if there is no oil in it for some reason is everything in the bottom end shot? It seems to operate fine all the gears etc when i manually put it in drive the prop won't spin by hand when it neutral it does and when in reverse it will not spin which is all normal correct? any help would be great
