I've searched and searched threads before posting so I didn't duplicate couldn't find anything related.
I have a 1973 6hp Johnson Seahorse.
Although I live on the Ocean, motor is used in local lakes. NS Canada

After being out fishing all day and boat is up on trailer sitting for hours, usually over night, I'll notice that oil has dripped down over prop.
I took the prop off and made sure everything was tight and clean.
2 questions: any suggestions ass to where the oil is coming from?
: is there a link for schematics for this motor?
Thanks very much in advance

your idling along all day fishing, correct?

on the way home, open the motor to full throttle for about 20 minutes to burn off the extra oil sitting in the exhaust.

that looks like normal 2-stroke oil buildup from running at idle.

A 1973 model 6 HP would be green ?----Yes that is normal for that to leak some.----This question is asked every week.

So sorry all. I had no idea I had replies. I'll check my settings. Thanks in advance.

I questioned the oil because I have never had it happen before. Seemed strange to me.

I won't worry I guess then.
Thanks again
