Hello,

Took the old 86 force 125 out for the first time after rebuilding the powerhead. Boat ran great. Kept it at no more than half throttle while i was cruising. The next day i noticed some black oil dripping out of the exhaust port in front of the prop. I did double up the oil in the gas tank for break-in. Is this some thing that should concern me or could this oil just be left over in the motor and thru the force of gravity be draining out. After four days mayby a teaspoon of oil is laying in the driveway.

Thanks Ray

It's just a guess as how I can't see it, but I think you're seeing unburned fuel/oil mixture. If so that's no problem.

Don't EVEN worry about it. My 115 merc does the same thing and has for 27 years. Still runs good.
