oil for lower leg

i just got my first evinrude its a 110hp vro o/b what oil is everybody using in lower leg and what two stroke oil is everybody using thanks

need more info to what's the serial numbers on your motor or what year is it?

Since it is older, you may use standard Marine Gear Oil for manual shift motors. Any TCW-III 2 cycle oil is acceptable as well.

You may of course use synthetic versions of the gear and 2 cycle oil, but they are more expensive. The synthetic or synthetic blend 2 cycle oil may smoke a bit less, than regular oil, however, IMO it is marginal, and not worth the cost difference.

I use whatever TCW-III oil is available and cheapest.
