Oil for yamaha 150

Wanted to know if I could pick up oil for my 150 yamaha at WalMart or some other discount store without going back to the dealer each time to buy the Yamaha oil. The discount stores are closer. I want to make sure I don't put something in that I will regret.

This discussion was on a few weeks ago. Some will say use only the recommeded oil. Many say as long as it meets or exceeds the spec it's ok. I go together with a friend of mine and we buy Texaco by the case at Sam's club.
