hey.. i have an alpha one outdrive... i pulled it off today and the (top) bellows poored out oil, the oil was from the outdrive.. now i was told it could be bad orings and gaskets on the top half of the outdrive but i took off the top plate of the outdrive with the torx sockets and there are gears in there.. im scared to touch the gears because i know they have to be perfectely alligned when going back. any help on this? easier way to fix it w/out ****ing up gear ratios?

Yea, pull the pinion gear and double bearing assembly out of the drive, dissassemble, install new seals and yoke if the old one is grooved, and put it back together.

What year is your Alpha I ?

It comes out the other way, by removing the castle nut...
