Can an oil injection system be added to an existing pre-mix system. I bought an Ebbtide Dynatrak with a 1985 Black Max 150 and it only has a single pre-mix gas tank. I'd like to not worry about pre mixing if it is possible.

Re: OIL INJECTION SYSTEMS

I'm sure someone disabled your system and went to pre-mix. More than likely the plastic gear inside the motor started to get stripped out. This is very common for this motor. I have the same motor 85 150 xr2, and my gear went bad, so I went to pre-mix. I also have a parts motor, and the reason its a parts motor is because that gear went bad, oil pump stopped working and it fryed the motor. I would stick with pre-mix! You know your cylinders are getting the oil they need. Just my two cents. Good luck.
CU

--------------------
RUNNING THE MOTOR WHILE LISTENING TO THE HORN WILL MAKE YOU MORN!!

You can, but you have to buy, install and check everything. I'd stay with premix like CU suggests if it was me...
