oil injection

A few years ago Yamaha had problems with there oil injection system does anyone know what years that was?

No, but you have to maintain the oil injection system, keep it clean, replace the filter,etc...
The motor was designed for oil injection, don't disconnect the oil injection system, and do premix 50-1 it's very smoky at idle.and not needed..
