What color was the oil?

Could be just unburned gas, the exhaust comes out the prop and alot of times you will get some running out, if it was black it is exhaust and that is just what they do.

Pull the prop and actually look at the shaft where the seal is and see if it is leaking there, ti will be a nice honey color if it is lower unit oil, might save you alot of time and money.

Could be normal. I get this, moreso if flushign in a bucket/bag. If it is black or greyish black, probably just unburnt oil/gas mix as previous poster mentioned. It will leak from under the prop. That can be normal.
