oil leaking from top of lower unit where it connects to upper unit

I have a 2001 225hp Evinrude Ficht and I just notice a leak of oil at the base of the motor and where the casing of the lower unit is. This is not near the prop or the water intake. I am new to boating and am at a loss if I should take it to the shop for a repair. Just a side note the motor has had the Powerhead replaced as per warranty in 2003. Thank you for any input you can give

If it is at the seam between the lower unit and exhaust housing, it is most likely exhaust residue. That is not sealed seam.

Thanks DJ. I was not sure if it was anything serious. Like I said it was the first time I saw it. Thanks for the quick reply
