I do see wetness on the bottom edge of the gasket, but there are no rust trails in the intake runners, which I'd think you should see...the intake bolts only get about 30 ft lbs if I recall, head bolts 65 ft lbs
Not usually such and issue with FI engines, but always with a carb....is if owners run their engines at idle for long periods or frequently. Perhaps to charge the batteries at the marina etc. The engine doesn?t get up to temp properly and becomes non efficient at burning off the fuel. Tends to glaze down the bores and into the sump.
I was guilty of doing this when I had cabin cruisers and carb motors. The oil used to reek of fuel at the end of every year. Very thin too.
