after doing some reading on and oil premixing. It seems like there a few differnt ideas on how it should be done. What is the best way?

for example if my tank has some good premix in and I am adding a spefic gallon amount of new gas would I not just add the correct amount of oil in tank for the gas I just added or is this a mistake?

As long as the final result is a tank of the correct ratio premix and its the same brand of oil then you can do it anyway you want.. just make sure its well shakken up.. most people mix up the premix seperately then add it to the tank..

rgds

frank

You are right on the money. Mix the proper oil/gas ratio to what you are adding.

Shaken not stirred ;) works well in all of 007's boats too!

Bob

I have an in-hull tank, so I keep extra oil on boat all the time, whenever I gas up the rig, I do it in 6 gal increments, then add the oil, close it up, and then the drive to the ramp mix it up

I would add oil then add gas for a little added
mix effect.
