oil o ring

I separated my lower unit from upper for inspection on a alpha 1, I ssee there is a very small rubber gasket/o ring that connects the oil passageway from the bottom to top unit, does this get replaced for every inspection or reused? can it be bought alone? What is the name of that o ring?

It is called a "Quad Ring" as it is square and not round in shape.

If you are not experiencing any leakage from that point just re use.
They come with impeller kits usually.
