Oil pressure was between 40 and 50..I turned around and looked again...it was at 0...running on muffs. Ford 302. Gauge has full volts when key on...oil sender has 9.3..Any suggestions
Wire has fallen off the sender or the back of the gauge. The engine harness connector for that pin has lost contact. Sender has failed. broken wire in the harness somewhere. Take your pick. Pull out a multimeter and do some checking...
The membrane in the sender may have ruptured, when that happens the sender goes to 0 pressure. Remember you have 50 year old pieces on your engine.
Hopefully that is all that is wrong.
