the inline sensor/filter was clogged on my motor, i took off the oil tank to get to it and cleaned it out and put it back together and the rev limiter started working again. at first i couldnt get to 3k rpm and the oil light would flash, and the motor would slow down. after cleaning it it was flowing good and the motor was running great. then while at the river, i noticed a nice sheen of oil on the water surface, and when i pulled the cover off, there was oil all over the lower casing just below the powerhead. today i pulled the tank off again and cleaned the oil up so i could spot a leak, but now i see no oil in the line coming from the tank to the pump. my buddy told me to be sure that the oil pump was primed and i need that info. the manual says to back off a few turns on the air bleeder screw, run it for a minute or two till the air is out of the lines and then tighten it up. if anyone knows the way to do it let me know. i tightened all the hoses as that is where i figgered the leak was coming from but am afraid to run it without any oil going to the pump. any help will be totally appreciated. i posted this in the wrong section so this is a repost. sorry. still need answers
thanks,
