i pulled the distributor to inspect counter weights, there is nothing wrong that would hold up advance weights to inhibit WOT RPM, but i did see that the drive fork on the oil pump was broken, wow how did that happen its amazing that the distributor shaft could run the oil pump with half the prong missing, anybody have a prt number for oil pump, cant seem to locat one for a mercruiser 140
