Oil Question for my 59 Johnson 18hp...

I have a 1959 Johnson 18hp Seahorse that calls for 24:1, 30w. My question is if I run the new TCW-III outboard oil do I use the same ratio or do I run a leaner mix? Thanks...

If it were my motor, I would run it at 24:1. Evinrude.com says to run it at 24:1. http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Owners-Center/FAQ/OilAndFuel#qst2
If the smoke bothers you, then 100% synthetic should produce less smoke.
