I have a 1993 rinker 260 fiesta vee with a 454 mecruiser brovo two while changing the out drive gear oil I found that there was a little gear oil on the bottom of the reservoir, Do you think this is a problem that I need to fix right away or can I just keep it full antill winter and change it out then? Are they had to change? You'er thought.

Depends on how much leakage there is. If it's just getting slightly damp on the bottom, you could keep an eye on it and enjoy the season. If it's dripping deffinately get it fixed, as it will only get worse, not better.

Very easy to pull off and work on it on the work bench. My Bravo 1 is held on bracket by an itty bitty bungee cord and hose is attached to bottom by a cable tie.

I unhooked the bungee, pulled off the cap, tipped it upside down and emptied oil into a container, put cap back on, turned upside down to remove the hose, disconnected the wiring plug to the float switch and out it came. No mess, no fuss. Took 10 minutes.

I'm anal about stuff like that and would pull the tank and fix it. It's up to you and how comfortable you are with it.
