The remote oil reservoir builds up a vacuum during operation, resulting in the audible alarm of the engine. I remove the cap to vent the reservoir, then resume. However, the cap states not to remove during operation otherwise damage may occur. Can someone tell me if venting the reservoir is an issue ? I can't see why but want to avoid damage otherwise.
