oil tank same as post 88 DT85

I have a 86 DT 85 and was wondering if the 88 and up are the same?brownspoint cant find the part # the 86 is 69110-95511 and the 88 and up is 69901-95500

the 88 is available, or should i say screw it and not use it, it would be nice not to mix the gas.
