Oil to fuel mix ratio for a 86 Merc 150 XR2???

I just bought a Ranger with this engine... boat still looks new and so does the engine... the guy I bought it from, it was his Fathers, who recently passed away. His Father was mechanic and he said he got rid of the oil pump and so forth and mixed the oil. Question is... how do I mix the ratio??? Was it common to remove this or why would he have done this? The boat was kept in a garage since he bought and and it still looks new! Here's a pic I snapped today when I brought it home... my Dad is standing beside it. Also, any info on this engine would be greatly appreciated!

The XR2 is a pretty sweet 2.0l, carbed v6 sold as a bass boat engine. You'll like how it runs if it's any where near normal.

Oil mix is 50:1. Any quality TCW3 oil, yer choice.
