A lot of technology in marine oil has changed in 50 years. Use a good quality mineral
oil 2 stroke With tcw-3 and mix same as you would a straight 30 and hopefulluy you will get annother 50 years or so. Be sure to check impeller and be carefull with ethanol blended fuels your carb was not designed for them.

Are you sure that doesn't say 1/2 pint? That's 16:1.

Re: oil to fuel question

My aftermarket chart from 54 indicates 1/2 pint per gallon for thye Sea King motors.
Use TCW3 rated oil.The ethanol in the gas may eat away the shellac on your float
I think It could be resealed with epoxy applied thinly so as not to weigh it down.
If you run it dry when not in use it may lessen the ethanol affect.
