oil types

what can you use that is safe for power steering fluid and tilt/trim fluid other the quicksilver and expensive oils what else can be used that is safe thanks

I think for your power sterring fluid, you can use standard approved power steering fluid that you would use for your gm truck engine.

For the tilt and trim, may want to stick with a quality fuild. Just my 2 cents. :D

ok thanks for the info i left out its a 4.3 V6 Merc alpha one drive

If what is already in there is red, use Dextron ATF, if it's oil colored, use 10W40 motor oil.

For either. or one could be ATF and the other Oil. You have to look as see what you have.
