Took her out to the lake today to try to get stripers and got a few miles out, saw the temp top out and the oil pressure go low. When I noticed that, I shut her down and opened the engine cover. To my horror, I saw emulsified oil boiling in a pool between my Holley 4BBL and the valve cover. Then just about cried watching it drip all over the port side of the engine, down into the bilge.

Luckily, I got her back on the trailer and back home.

Think the block is salvagable? Carb? I'm sure a rebuild is in order, but just wondering if I should rebuild her or just go get a new one (not that I can "just go get" a new one... It's going to take a LOT of side work either way.

Just thought I'd share my loss today! Be safe out there!
