It seems to me that my motor witch is a 1986 evinrude 225hp is letting out to much oil from the prop any help

Can you tell what kind of oil it is? If it's gear oil, you need to address that asap. If it's tc-w3 then you might need to do a general tune-up starting with the right plugs and make sure they are gapped correctly. How does the motor run other than the oil issue?

Do you have oil injection? Have you checked consumption? What, exactly, makes you think too much oil is going over the side?

we started useing more oil then recomned, the exaust coming out of the prop was gas and oil mixture after the motor dried out it started right up, compresion 90/92.

Do not over oil the fuel, doesn't help a thing.

is your motor oil injected...if so maybe the pump is going bad...

BTW, air in the fuel side will cause overoiling, which is why I asked about actual oil consumption. It make the pump think more gas is flowing than actually is and oils accordingly. You may have replaced a good pump. Air can be introduced by a cracked fuel line, clamp not tight, etc., etc.
