If the idea is to flush the lower unit just drain the unit then from the top hole add some new loob till drains. Once you have drained what you put in, fill from the bottom, put in the screws, first the top then the bottom, start with muffs, for 5 mins. then stop motor, and re-drain the unit. This should flush it out without wortying that the additive you added caused more problems. Always remember that a few dollars spent correctly might save more later.
