If the plugs are oily and wet do i have carb isuses? they arare jc8 and supposed to be JC4 please help!!

First thing I'd do is install the correct heat range plug and go from there.That'd be Champion J4C gapped at .030".If you troll mostly ,you can increase gap to .035" or .040" to prevent wet fouling.Wet is at least an indication the carbs are passing fuel and the dreaded lean condition isn't present.

Man the thing does not want to open up to full trottle Ive ran out of ideas maybey i did not rebuilt properlly ? It pumps water dont know gona have to take it in for service or sell it. Any other ideas ?? I hate buging u guys

Let us know what the results are.

Then we'll go from there.

There's several things that could be causing your troubles.

Check spark on both cylinders with a spark checker from your local discount auto parts store or make one. Do a search for spark tester and you will find a thread that tells you how to make one. You may just be losing spark to a cylinder and running only on one. Make sure you put the correct plugs in like ob said.

You said you rebuilt the motor , right??

If you did it without a manual .

Maybe thats , part of the problem.

No sorry the carburator. I bought the kit , soaked for the night etc. I will post in a different thread. sorry
