Can't see why not. Both pump into a couple of hydraulic rams. As long as there's nothing else in the circuit, then it shuld be just a straight swap. Any odea what the OMC pump is? (As in, Merc pump is a Parker-Oildyne 108 series....)

There's two different trim pump flow and pressure rates to consider as there is Oildyne Low Pressure/High Flow pumps and High Pressure/Low Flow pumps and it seem to have something to do with cylinder ram size. But it should work fine for you to switch over as the info below mentions the bigger rams for Alpha/Bravo can be used on Volvo/OMC. Part number 865380A25 is low pressure/high flow which from memory seems right to me for the Volvo pumps.

Ayuh,.... I don't think it matters awhole lot,....

In My pre-internet days, when I put my boat together, I used the new style plastic tank trim pump, 'n the 1" trim rams from a MC-1,....
That was in '98, or '99,...
It's still workin' just Fine,....

Customers going to pull it out and get it to me.
